STRATEGIES
  • To build capacity of different stake holders through appropriate orientation and training program; placing the issues of domestic violence, sexual abuse and exploitation, trafficking and HIV/AIDS on meeting agendas and make people realize that any kind of violence will not be acceptable in the society.
  • To promote and advocate for equitable and sustainable access of poor, vulnerable and socially excluded women and children to basic services and resources and do public demonstration from VDC to district level against violence.
  • To develop and implement a comprehensive program that includes psycho social, medical, legal and economic support for social integration of people affected from violence.
  • To build strategic alliances and accountability of Aawaaj, local partners and communities for violence reduction and victim's management response.
  • To mainstream violence sensitivity into all Aawaaj programming in order to minimize its negative impact and position ourselves to engage in sustainable peace development.
  • Access to informal space on violence issues and watchdog activities at communities so that community's initiation to respond against violence would be taken positively.
